Thermo Pine

Each piece of quality Scandinavian softwood is steam cooked in a kiln to transform it into Thermowood. The heat penetrates interior of the wood, removing moisture and resin. As a result, the moisture content of the wood is decreased, and its physical qualities are improved. Thermowood is 50 percent more stable than softwood that has not been treated. In regard to atmospheric changes, it shrinks, swells, and distorts less. In addition, Thermowood is simple to work with and light.
