Cherry Wood

Cherry Wood is a hardwood that is known for its strength and gorgeous colour. Yellow, white, red, and dark brown are some of the colours available in cherry wood. The darker heartwood lends a sense of class to its surroundings, whilst the lighter varieties are ideal for furniture. One reason colonial carpenters utilise it for cabinets and furniture is that it is exceedingly heavy and sturdy. The grain of Cherry Wood is smooth and satiny, which may be accentuated with stain.
